If possible, arrive early. Registration opens at 4 PM. This will work much faster for those that take advantage of the online registration prior to the event. Light refreshments will be served. There will be time for sharing and fellowship prior to the opening of the service. It is imperative that we have an accurate count, as early as possible, for those providing food service on Saturday.
We will begin the evening with gathering music by Bob Kettering (Atlantic Northeast District). Those in attendance will be seated around round tables in order to compliment the discussion times. After a welcome and opening by Grover Duling (West Marva District), there will be congregational singing led by Bob Kettering and special music provided by soloist Abe Evans. An opening devotion by Jim Myer (Atlantic Northeast District) will center around, 2 Chronicles 7:14. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Julian Rittenhouse (Shenandoah District). He will center his thoughts on “Repentance and Confession”. Following his message, his son Nathan Rittenhouse (Shenandoah District) will lead a prayer and discussion time on this topic. At this time, table groups will be led in a discussion of selected Scriptures and prayer points. The closing devotion will be given by Kendal Elmore (West Marva DE), followed by additional congregational singing and a closing prayer.
Late Registration will begin at 8 AM. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided for this time of fellowship.
Gathering music will be provided by the praise team “Grains of Sand”. The morning session will begin at 9:00 AM. After a welcome, Kevin Staggs, song leader from West Marva, will lead congregational singing. The opening devotion will be provided by Craig Alan Myers (Northern Indiana District). Special music will be provided by “Grains of Sand”. The keynote speaker for the morning will be Stafford Frederick (Virlina District). His message will focus on the theme for the morning session “Grace and Forgiveness”. The discussion leader for the follow up to the message will be Roy McVey (Virlina District). At this time, table groups will be led in a discussion of selected Scriptures and prayer points. A closing devotion for this session will be given by Musa Mambula, International Scholar in Residence at Bethany Theological Seminary, followed by additional congregational singing.
Lunch will be provided at no specific cost. A Free-will offering will be received. The lunch break will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This will allow ample time for fellowship of the Brethren.
The afternoon session will begin promptly at 1:00pm following gathering music by “Grains of Sand”. After a welcome back, Kevin Staggs will lead the group with an opening hymn followed by a devotion from Scott Kinnick (Southeastern DE). Special music for the afternoon will be provided once more by “Grains of Sand”. The keynote speaker will be Joel Billi, President of EYN in Nigeria. He will be speaking on the afternoon theme of “Healing and Hope”. The discussion leader for this session will be Kendal Elmore (West Marva DE). At this time, table groups will be led in a discussion of selected Scriptures and prayer points. A closing devotion to bring together the focus of all three sessions will be provided by Jim Myer. Kevin Staggs will lead the group in congregational singing as part of a closing. A closing prayer will be given as all are asked to join hands representing a circle of unity and love.
